Getting to Scotland

Alladale is located just one hour's scenic drive from Inverness, the gateway to the Highlands. Wildfitness will provide transfers for guests arriving and leaving Inverness in conjunction with the sleeper train from London. For other arrival/departure times we can arrange transport individually for guests.

Train
If you are coming from London we recommend you get the sleeper-train service from London Euston to Inverness. This leaves at  21:15 and arrives at 08:30 the following morning, giving you the full day in Scotland on Thursday. The train departs on Monday at 20:38 and arrives into London Euston at 07:43 the following morning.

Plane
There are regular flights to Inverness from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Belfast, Dublin and Edinburgh. We recommend you arrive on Thursday morning to get as full a day a possible and depart on Monday afternoon/evening. Airline operators include Flybe, EasyJet, British Airways, Eastern Airways, Highland Airways, Aer Arann and Ryanair.
We can arrange to book suitable flights for you should you wish.

Car
From Inverness take the A9 north. Turn left onto the B9176, before the town of Alness, towards Ardgay & Bonar Bridge. At the village of Ardgay, turn left at the Alladale Store & Cafe, continue for a further 9 miles and turn left at the phone box. After 1.5 miles the hard road will end and Alladale Lodge is a further 2 miles ahead on the unsealed track.
